Klipsch's hard-hitting SW-311 combines advanced technology and thoughtful design to perfectly round out a home theater or stereo music system. A high-output 500-watt amplifier produces room-filling bass power like you wouldn't expect from a sub this compact. The strong-yet-light 10" woofer is designed for quick, precise movement, and teams up with a 10" passive radiator to give you an extra mid-bass boost. And since this sub measures just over a cubic foot, it'll deliver the bass you crave without taking away from your room's décor.
Top-mounted controls with an easy-to-read LCD display make it simple to adjust volume, crossover, and more. Klipsch's latest Adaptive Room Correction technology lets you use the included calibration microphone to optimize the SW-311's output for your specific room. You can also select from three preset equalization curves to find just the right amount of "oomph" for your music and movies. And five different presets let you choose the kind of bass performance you need, like "Movie," "Music," or "Night," at the press of a button. Plus, you can adjust the subwoofer's settings to fit your personal tastes, then save them into one of two user-adjustable presets.
An infrared sensor on the front of the SW-311 lets you control its main functions using select learning remotes or control systems. A USB input allows for future upgrades, and gives you access to some of the sub's more advanced filter features. And thanks to a line-level output, you can connect multiple subs to your system and enjoy smoother, more consistent even bass throughout your room.
