Get the best of both worlds when you build a home theater surround system with the large-sized Dymension DM70 3-Way Floorstanding Speaker from Definitive Technology. The speaker combines bi-polar speaker arrays with a 3XR-optimized active 10" subwoofer/dual passive radiator system with a 250W (peak) Class-D amp. Together they fill your room with immersive and lifelike sound, and a booming bass you can feel—no extra subwoofers required. The front- and rear-facing bi-polar arrays consist of a pair of 5.25" midrange woofers and a 1" tweeter each. Complimenting the powerful low-end with crisp highs, detailed mids, and an overall balanced sound throughout the room. To elevate your surround experience even further, a top-mounted connection can accept an optional DM90 height module.

Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Ready

When you're ready to take your home theater system to the next level, you can pop the top panel of the DM70 to expose a speaker connection that is designed to accommodate a DM90 height module. With a DM90 speaker attached, you can take advantage of Dolby Atmos or DTS:X object-based surround, adding height effects for audio that completely envelops you from all sides.

Intelligent Bass Control

You can control the level of bass you want via a dedicated knob on the DM70, but don't worry about turning it up. Built-in intelligent bass processing works to seamlessly blend the bass with the mids and highs as you dial it up, so the increased low-end sound doesn't interfere with sound effects or dialogue.

BDSS & Linear Response Waveguide

The four 5.25" midrange woofers in the DM70 feature BDSS (Balanced Double Surround System) and Linear Response Waveguide technology. Together, they improve sound excursion, midrange detail, and extend off-axis dispersion, resulting in a large and immersive soundstage.

Build Your Home Theater

The DM70 is timbre-matched to seamlessly integrate with other Definitive Technology series of speakers, such as other speakers in the Dymension, Dymension CI, and Mythos lines.

Wrapped in acoustically transparent black grille cloth, the DM70 is made to disappear into your room. Without any distracting LED lights, the DM70 keeps your focus on what you're watching.

Stable Platform for Any Floor

In order to keep the DM70 stable on virtually any type of flooring, Definitive Technology includes four adjustable glides for hard surfaces, and four adjustable spikes for carpeting.
